Catherine Miller, known as "Kitty" to most people, has several years experience in the accounting industry as well. She thinks every client is special. She has experience in many areas of tax including complex trusts and estates, individuals and business entities. She has clients with many complex issues. She has clients in such diverse ares as technology, oil & gas, real estate, ranching, trusts and estates. She also has many senior citizens as clients and really enjoys helping them with their various accounting needs.
Kitty graduated from the University of North Texas in 1988, and later also did post graduation studies at the University of Houston and became a CPA in 1994 doing mostly public accounting work since then.
Kitty was appointed by Gov. George W. Bush to the Texas Real Estate Research Advisory Committee (more commonly known as the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University) and served on that committee for many years. She enjoyed serving on the UNT Alumni Association/North Texas Exes Board of Directors and was its National Treasurer at one time. Currently she is the Finance Chairman for the Fort Worth Petroleum Club. She is a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. She has also actively served on several other boards and committees. Kitty is a proud member of the Texas Society of CPA's and the AICPA. She really enjoys meeting with her clients and striving to provide them with solutions to their accounting needs.
When not working or volunteering, Kitty likes to spend her time with her husband, her friends and family and her dog that you might occasionally see at the office when she's working late. You might even catch her at a Texas Rangers baseball game during baseball season cheering on her favorite team with Lois!
