Lois Kapp has many years experience in the accounting world and throughout her career has always been committed to giving her clients the best in personal attention.
After serving as a partner in KPMG, Lois left the accounting giant in 1987 to found her own firm. When she became a partner at Main Hurdman and Co. (a large national accounting firm that later merged into KPMG), she was one of the first and very few female partners of national accounting firms in Fort Worth at that time and is much admired for acheiving that success through tenacity and a delightfully sweet and kind personality that makes everyone at ease.
She is a graduate of Rice institute in Houston, Texas and attended South Texas College of Law.
She has served as the President of the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of CPA's earning chapter of the year while President. She currently serves on the Advanced Estate Planning Conference Committee for the TSCPA and has for several years, She has also served on many other TSCPA board positions and offices. She was awarded CPA of the year in 2002-2003. She is a long time member of the Rotary Club of Western Fort Worth and is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. She is actively involved in the Fort Worth Business and Estate Council. She is a member of the AICPA. She has served on numerous professional and charitable boards and enjoys helping the community as well as her clients. She has received numerous awards and accolades for her selfless volunteer work to the profession and the community over the years. When not working, you can normally find her watching a symphony at Bass Hall or at a Texas Rangers baseball game with her family and friends.
